How to Raise Volume on a KTC Monitor

Volume on KTC displays is usually adjusted from the OSD audio path, a sound menu, or a smart-display audio path. Check the parts that match your setup. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

What to check

Check the OSD audio path

Many models keep volume in a separate OSD audio section.

Check this:

  1. Open the menu.
  2. Go to OSD > System Set > Audio > Volume.
  3. Raise the volume level.
  4. Turn off mute if that option is enabled.

If the display is connected to headphones or external speakers, the volume path may still stay inside the monitor menu.

Check the smart-display audio path

Smart-display products may use a system volume path through the remote, side controls, or settings.

Check this:

  1. Use the remote, touchscreen, or side controls to raise the main volume.
  2. Open Settings if the level does not change.
  3. Check Sound or Audio for a separate volume control.
  4. Confirm the active output path if the product supports more than one.

Built-in apps, HDMI input, and Bluetooth audio can sometimes use different output paths.

If the steps above do not match your screen

Before going to the model list, try these quick checks:

  • make sure the source device volume is not muted
  • check whether the monitor or display actually supports audio on the current input
  • reconnect headphones or speakers if you are using external audio
  • turn off any mute option on the display before testing again
