How to Install the Stand on a KTC Monitor

KTC displays usually install the stand as a base-and-neck assembly, a slide-in stand, or a portable or smart-display support structure. Choose the stand type that best fits your product to get started. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

Common stand structures

Base-and-neck assembly

Many monitors use a stand neck that attaches to the screen and a base that fastens underneath.

Try this:

  1. Lay the screen on a soft, clean surface.
  2. Attach the stand neck to the monitor.
  3. Attach the base to the stand.
  4. Tighten the hand screw or locking point if there is one.
  5. Lift the monitor carefully after the stand feels secure.

Keep pressure off the panel itself while the screen is face down.

Slide-in stand

Some models use a stand that slides or clicks into place without many parts.

Try this:

  1. Align the stand with the mount area on the back of the screen.
  2. Push or slide it in until it locks.
  3. Check that the stand no longer moves loosely.
  4. Attach the base if it is separate.

If the stand does not lock smoothly, check the alignment instead of pushing harder.

Portable or smart-display support structure

Portable displays and some smart-display products may use a support frame, rear leg, or cover-based stand.

Try this:

  1. Open or attach the support part fully.
  2. Place the screen on a stable surface.
  3. Confirm that the support angle is locked or seated correctly.
  4. Reconnect cables after the support is stable.

These products may not use a traditional monitor base, so the support can look very different.

If the steps above do not match your screen

Before going to the model list, try these quick checks:

  • check whether the stand neck and base are separate parts
  • look for a quick-release latch or locking point on the rear mount area
  • confirm that no packing material is still blocking the stand slot
  • stop if the parts do not line up naturally
