How to Select the Input Source on a KTC Monitor

KTC displays usually switch input through the joystick-up Signal Source Input shortcut, an OSD input menu, or a smart-display source screen. Choose the input-selection style that best fits your screen to get started. If these steps do not fit your screen, use the model links below for exact instructions.

Common input-selection styles

Joystick shortcut

Many KTC monitors let you open Signal Source Input from the rear joystick.

Try this:

  1. Turn on the display.
  2. Find the rear joystick.
  3. Press once to wake the screen if needed.
  4. Press the joystick upward to open Signal Source Input, or press inward to open the menu first.
  5. Choose the input that matches the cable you are using, such as HDMI, DP, or Type-C.
  6. Confirm the selection.

If your display has more than one HDMI port, make sure you choose the matching one.

OSD menu path

Some models place input selection inside the main menu.

Try this:

  1. Open the monitor menu.
  2. Look for Input, Input Source, Source, or Signal Source.
  3. Open that section.
  4. Select the connected port.
  5. Confirm and wait a few seconds.

If the menu closes without changing the picture, reopen it and confirm again.

Smart display source screen

Some KTC smart-display products switch inputs more like a TV or smart screen.

Try this:

  1. Open Settings, Input, or Source.
  2. Look for the available connected signal sources.
  3. Choose the active HDMI or other external input.
  4. Wait for the display to switch.

If the product has both built-in apps and external inputs, make sure you switch away from the home interface to the external source.

If the steps above do not match your screen

Before going to the model list, check these basics:

  • confirm which cable is connected now
  • confirm which port on the display it uses
  • reconnect the cable on both ends
  • try one direct cable without extra adapters if possible
  • reopen the source menu and confirm the selection again
