WARNING - Read Before Updating
Firmware updates may cause color parameter deviation, display abnormalities, update failure, or an unbootable device if the update is interrupted or performed incorrectly. Manual firmware updates should only be performed when instructed by KTC Support or authorized service personnel. Any unauthorized or self-performed update, including resulting device failure, warranty invalidation, or functional abnormality, is undertaken at the user's own risk.

2. Pre-Update Precautions

3. General Firmware Update Procedure
Note: During the entire update process, do not power off the monitor, remove the USB flash drive, disconnect cables, or press any monitor keys unless instructed by the guide.

The universal default name is MERGE; refer to the corresponding version description for special requirements. Use English letters/numbers only; do not include Chinese characters, special symbols, or extra spaces. Place the renamed firmware file in the root directory of the USB flash drive. |
| 2 | Connect the USB Flash Drive | Locate the dedicated USB port on the monitor, usually on the side or rear panel. This service/debugging port may be different from ordinary data USB ports. Insert the prepared USB flash drive firmly to ensure stable contact. |
| 3 | Launch Update via OSD Menu | Press the physical keys on the monitor to open the OSD menu. Navigate to System Settings > USB Upgrade / Firmware Upgrade, then confirm to start firmware recognition and update. |

| 6 | Finalize the Update | When the indicator light stops blinking and the monitor returns to standby or the initial state, all update processes are completed. Remove the USB flash drive, unplug and reconnect the power cable, then restart the monitor. |
IMPORTANT
The secondary update may include backlight software and underlying adaptation programs. A black screen or blinking indicator light can be normal. Wait until the indicator light stops blinking before restarting the monitor.
4. Post-Update Inspection

5. Common Troubleshooting
